We are governed by the purpose and principles contained in our founding charter under the guardianship of the Governing Body that administers the activities of the institution through its appointed Executive Director following the Carver Policy Governance Model.

HISTORY
2000
The founders of East West Educational Foundation, Paul and Pat Gillette had a vision to set up educational institutions as their primary vision across PAN India.
To achieve their vision they set up a legal entity by registering its founding charter (Memorandum and Articles of Association) under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 on 18th January 2000.
The first unit to begin its operation under the aegis of EWEF was East West Language Institute (EWLI) under its first Director, Stephen Arnold.

2003
Foreign Language institute started in the year 2003 and included an ESL Program and Hindustani Publishing under its first Director, Don Rempel.
Hindustani Publishing was later rebranded as East-West Publishing.

2016
In August 2016 EWEF took over ownership of Ebenezer Community School (ECS)
EWEF had been supporting ECS for 10 years before it took over the ownership.

2002
Metro Delhi International School (MDIS) started in August 2002 to provide an international Biblical based education.

Executive Director
David V. Osmond comes with more than two decades of experience in senior management and entrepreneurial ventures in various industry verticals such as IT, tourism, hospitality, and education. His strategic and analytical skills help in providing the requisite direction and executive leadership to the organization.

Director Administration
Esther Chakrapani has more than 15 years of administrative experience at a senior role in Emmanuel Hospital Association with Director’s role in Micro-finance and Education sectors.

Financial Controller
Sumit K. Chetty is responsible for providing financial services such as accounting and finance, taxation, reporting, and budgeting in accordance with the country's statutory requirements as well as organisational policies and strategies.
Mr. Chetty has over ten years of experience in finance and accounting, compliance, audit, and financial reporting in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors.
